AM Specialty Welcomes Matt Mosher as a Board Member of AM Holding Company
DALLAS, TX, April 17th, 2026 — AM Specialty Insurance Group is pleased toannounce the appointment of Matt Mosher to its Board of Directors.
Mosher joins the Board following adistinguished career spanning nearly three decades at AM Best, where he mostrecently served as President and Chief Executive Officer. During his tenure atAM Best, he held several senior leadership roles including Executive VicePresident and Chief Operating Officer, Chief Rating Officer, and CEO of AM BestAmerica Latina. In these roles, he oversaw global rating operations across globalmarkets.
A recognized leader in insurance and creditrating methodologies, Mosher played a central role in the development andadvancement of AM Best’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (BCAR) model, a criticalframework used to assess insurer financial strength. He also contributed to theevolution of rating methodologies through the integration of innovation-basedassessments, further strengthening the analytical rigor of the rating process.
In addition to his tenure at AM Best,Mosher currently serves in several advisory and board roles across theinsurance sector. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from LehighUniversity.
